I was just unpacking an ECM Synchronika and noticed some very creative cut-out shapes in the chassis.

Does anyone want to guess what they are there for? I have no idea...

That was my first thought Al.
...but the position and shapes don't make sense for that.
It's a mystery ....
Maybe someone at the factory likes circles ;)

That's what I thought Matt. They're usually symmetrical I was sure...
Must have been a Friday beer o'clock unit.

Secret beverage holder?
Maybe Simon.
I noticed when changing the shower screen to a precision one and by coincidence the big cut out was almost identical in size to the screen. So spare showerscreen holder perhaps? ;)

So many LOLz.... it must be to accomodate a 50mm drain so you can finally have good coffee in the shower!

Just noticed I left this one unanswered. Yes, correct above. It’s for storage of the blind filter. Mystery solved :)

That is one handsome machine.  If I was in the market for a DB again this would be on a very short list.
