Hi all,

I came here because I wanted some advice about a coffee grinder and thought the forum looked like a fun place to hang out and meet some nice people.  :)

hi and welcome ! did you have a budget in mind for the grinder and what coffee machine or preparation device will you be using it with?

Hi everyone, it has been some 7 years since I first read something about home barista communities in my home country (Netherlands) that got me intrigued. Took another year or 2 to take the plunge and purchase a setup fof home espresso making. Next I found myself registering on a number of forums, of which Coffeeforums.uk is the latest. I like to think I go about my routine with my mid-tier equipment in a casual way as much as possible, but love reading what others have to say about chasing the best cup they can, how meticulous their approach is or isn’t and what equipment they like to use doing so. One is never done learning from others. Cheers!

Bert

Hi Bert and welcome!!  Mid-tier is a slippery slope.... you start sensible then one day wake up surrounded by enough machinery to run a busy cafe. Enjoy the hobby mate!!
