Hi guys, it is with great pleasure that we welcome Pat (ACG) back as moderator. Those a little longer in the tooth will remember that for a number of years, Pat and I pretty much moderated the forum jointly, so from a personal point-of-view, it's great to have him back.

It's also worth re-stating our thanks to Brett for pretty much single-handedly holding the fort while I was engaged on other things and Dry Bean was ill last year.

cheers
A

many thanks for the warm welcome Ashley

its great to be back in the hood

my seachange to the sunny coast is certainly less demanding than the rigors of city living, so i find myself with more time on my hands, which is lovely

and i'll endeavour to live up to the excellent standards which have been set by mods past and present!

best,

Pat

Hi all,

Thanks for your well wishes - I start selling my cold brew as well as a bunch of other (non coffee) products at Eumundi Markets tomorrow - which marks a new transition in my coffee journey!

All the best,

Pat

Not sure if that comment implies that I'm familiar with my right hand but I'll pay it anyway

actually this may be a good point to just re-iterate a couple of things here on forum structure: this is a true community forum (perhaps unlike some other forums  8)) and it's run as a community of equals - it's not owned by anyone and the mod team makes decisions by consensus.

Mods are myself, Brett, Jon(Dry Bean), Pat (ACG) and Kelsey, who also very kindly hosts the forum on his server. Since I've got a couple of fairly young kids and have been retraining for a new career, and since Kelsey has been largely absorbed by his business, it's in no sense my or Kelsey's forum - actually, as I've mentioned, until Pat came back on board, Brett was pretty much running things single-handedly last year (thanks again Brett!).
