Hi all,

I have put together a spreadsheet to show the business case for the Home Barista.

Replacing 4 coffees saves $50k over 10 years !!! :)

Please enjoy it. It’s my latest Blog here:

Yep. Next step if to find a way to let others plug in their own numbers. If anyone wants a copy of the spreadsheet contact me and I can flick a copy over.
Cheers :)

Does the graph take into account - other than the Machine and Grinder
Beans you purchase to make coffee
Electricity
Maintenance

I agree that a saving is made by a home barista

Hi there KK,
Good points there.
I have included beans, milk, electricity and maintenance. On my spreadsheet I show the assumptions made.
I’m an ex-engineer and scientist so I love working with spreadsheets :)
Cheers from Melbourne.
