Haven't done a heart for a while. Here's this morning's 4am cappuccino made on my The Little Guy at work.

I love coffee. It's as simple as that.

Ahh I'm strongly considering staying up tonight, just so I can have one of these 4am coffees haha, just reckon that'd be so nice having a coffee then XD

Not sure that it's 'nice'. I'd probably describe it as needed. LOL. It was yummy though.

I'm still very much a novice in the field of latte art even though I've been making coffee for something like 30 years !

Ah nah that's really nice, love the leaves curling around!

And yeah latte art's a funny one, alot of people in the coffee industry I've noticed either really love it or don't care much for latte art at all! I love the dimension it adds, and it shows a real passion for coffee and also brings in a dedication to a new skill set. Not to mention latte art dramatically improves a coffee's flavour (through the really well textured milk, not so much from the pretty picture haha. Although someone going through the hours of training and practice to produce latte art on top of your coffee does show alot of love and enriches the experience of drinking it!)

latte art does tend to be indicative of passion for the product and its also usually a sign of great and well chosen ingredients - and i love iy when the whole package comes together!

Ah that looks really cool KK! Yeah I really wanna nail rosettas with the heart at the top, they look sweet as, but the heart to still curl around instead of just being 'plopped' on top in a blob if that makes sense. I'll give it a crack.

I'm thinking of getting a two hole steam tip for my Profitec, am finding it hard to get consistency for smaller milk beverages, the Pro 500 steam is just so powerful haha..

You can use my micro foam technique for 4 hope powerful steam machines it’s in my blog
http://koffeekosmo.blogspot.com.au/2010/11/koffee-komo-method-to-creating-great.html

It’s used world wide with great success

Cheers KK appreciate that. Yeah I think I gave that method ago awhile ago and couldn't quite get the hang of it, I think it was moreso due to what I was used to. I try to get more of a whirlpool occurring which means the tip just slightly off centre so the milk gets sucked under, and I think I found that bringing the tip to the very side of the jug just spun the milk around instead of incorporating the microfoam and folding it underneath/mixing it all together.

But I may give your method ago, and it may be great method for smaller amounts of milk (piccolos) too (I find trying to whirlpool smaller amounts is just too violent haha), but I'm sure I just need to practice more consistently with it. Thanks mate

If that fellow in the video can do it without actually doing anything himself then anyone can steam / micro foam milk using the method

Tip
Let the steam do the work
If your machine has very strong steam then you can use 3/4 steam strength
