Here's the presser from WCE for the upcoming Seattle event - have to say, wish I could be there!

World Coffee Events brings the 16th World Barista Championship to the SCAA Event in Seattle, USA
Seattle, USA (3 April 2015) - This year’s World Barista Championship, produced by World Coffee Events, will be the highlight of the SCAA Event show, from April 9-12, 2015, at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, USA.

The 2015 World Barista Championship (WBC) featuring Official Espresso Machine Sponsor, Victoria Arduino of the Nuova Simonelli Group (http://www.victoriaarduino.com), will cover over 1000sqm during the four-day competition schedule, attracting an estimated 10,000 visitors. A total of 50 national barista champions will compete, with only one world champion emerging from the WBC.

Over 63,000 online viewers (figures from 2014 WBC), representative of 50 nations worldwide, will log in to watch WCE's livestream broadcast (http://new.livestream.com/worldcoffee). Hundreds of retailers worldwide will broadcast the program thanks to this year's Go Live Project (www.worldbaristachampionship.com/go-live), brought to you by Coffee Jobs Board (http://coffeejobsboard.com).

In addition to the WBC, there will be feature areas providing attendees with interactive sensory experiences. The Brew Bar brought to you by Marco Beverage Systems (http://marcobeveragesystems.com) will serve coffees from 15 different specialty coffee roasters from around the world, featuring 5 different manual brewing preparation methods. Hands-on demonstrations are available daily at the Brew Bar.
