I'd drink a good instant in preference to some of the nespresso offerings, which simply don't appeal to me in terms of what I expect from a good "fresh" coffee. Not trying to be nasty at all, just stating an individual preference. To my way of thinking nespresso is "designed" to have people go from nescafe to another nestles product in the search for something more, rather than having people go elsewhere (ie outside the nestle stable). They're on a winner with the "convenience" factor, as there are plenty of people that can't handle a regular manual espresso machine and grinder and all that involves....so as already stated not really taking market from high end manual coffee equipment, but certainly taking it from "bean to cup" automatics. George is laughing all the way to the bank (as is nestle).
