Hi dubbleR - great that you've managed to pick one up: would you like to give us all your impressions - eg first impressions after you got it set up on the bench, and then maybe how you've found it after a few days use? cheers A
I'll vote for that!

Very few products can stand up to a marketing push the likes of what we've all witnessed. Witnessed and loved it mind you! Those guys must have brass balls which is why they're successful!
Hi Brett Not sure if I should I be flattered. ;D I'm reminded that Barnum is quoted as saying, "there's no such thing as bad publicity". I'm not sure that I agree with that. I find it interesting though, that this thread may well be one of the most widely read on the forum, and seems to have solicited opinions from many people, few of whom have even seen the machine let alone used one. Now, if one happens to agree with Barnum, then contributing in any way to this thread, contributes to the hype. Double R: the machines are tested at point of production, not post production by Breville once they arrive in AU. Rider: The Scace type of device I saw them use was able to be connected to a Fluke and other hardware. Hence the 'weird tubes' you refer to. Forgive me if I defer my trust in Breville's Engineers rather than your observations. I'll leave it at that for now. Cheers Den
