I think that Matt's performance was calm & professional, great interaction with the judges. Looking forward to seeing more competitors tonight!

Thanks for the link, I didn't get to watch him this morning. I enjoyed his run through and that he concentrated on taste, after all isn't that what it's all about 🙂

if I'm reading this correctly, looks like the spanish guys were a little ahead of the rest of the bunch, with not much separating 2nd, 3rd & 4th. Thanks very much for hte updates!! A

Not sure about the points matching the draw for the semis at all and there was no report as to who won the preliminary's. Designed for more suspense :🙂

yeah the order of the semi finalist's announcement or competing order is not related to their pointscore in the first round. Competing order for the semi finals would be selected randomly. I'd love to know who owns those scores for the first round though!

Looks like The Australian has picked up on WBC champs, with a picture gallery which is a bit of a first, but it's actually pretty basic - with captions like: ' a contestant pours a coffee for the judges' [see link below]: http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/gallery-e6frg6n6-1226068556162?page=2 also "Barista Pilly Pollen is representing Australia" according the the Australian - has anyone heard of Pilly Pollen? dR ???

Koffee_Kosmo

Just in case you're wanting to set your alarm to watch Matt compete on the WBC LiveStream - he's on at 4.15am AEST - Go Matt!

Matt looked even more relaxed, calmer & professional in his semi-final presentation. Honestly, it feels to me to be not all that different to having Matt make you a coffee as he would day to day. I'm so excited at how well he's done, I'm likely to explode if he wins. Which he will.

DoubleRistretto

Go Matt go!!

All nighter coming up I feel, first bottle O red nearly done between me and the cooking ;D
