derrilex Just did 600 of Kuda with a few yirg chucked in to make up the numbers ( 50g). No frypan this time to observe any time difference. 1st C @ 12.45, 2nd C @16.30 pulled at 17. Over all times didnt change give or take 30 seconds but the Yirg are a bit under done compared to the kuda. They were all in at the same time and given 10 mins @ 100 for a warm up then upto 250 till 1st C.
derrilex A small mod to the Aggi today. A piece of SS cable formed into 2 loops. Seems to have livened up the action in the bean bowl
Koffee_Kosmo Nice thinking Flexy for bean push pull pressures and easy to attach Give us an update after a roast or two KK
derrilex Just did 600 of ugly Kuda Mas. Well known for producing horrible looking uneven roasts. To date, whenever I've attempted it, the results were very ordinary to look at. This time however, I reckon its the best looking ugly Kuda I've ever seen.
GaryatGala Certainly is a good looking ugly Mas result. 😃 Good work. Let us know how it tasted. I enjoy it in a blend to add Mas...sive body.

That looks to be a nice roast of a temperamental to roast bean The Crema on them has a funky flavour but nice drinking overall KK
derrilex Tried some 1 day old los vol today. Awesome for really fresh beans. The roasts are so much more even, progressive and predictable. So I guess, upon reflection, the agitator is the most important part of the roaster, assuming volume is right.
