borat123 Just ordered a stubby tamper from OE, so won't be needing the spice jar any longer... Also ordered a set of seal removal picks, some Dow 111 and a tube of simichrome (for polishing Bakelite). Off to San Francisco next week.
borat123 Well early this morning I finally got to put the Caravel to good use on camping duty! I had it running off 12V via a 1000W inverter, and it worked a treat. I'm still learning how to use it, but was getting some very nice shots with a slightly coarser grind and just a single pull action with a 3-4second 'pre-infusion'. Here's a couple of pics..
Brett_H Great pics mate! Where is this beach?? :stir Seriously good fun by the looks and great coffee too!!

borat123 It's only a 30min drive from home, and from the beach😉 The well worn, crazed and cracked Aeropress has now reached retirement... Here's a pic of what the trailer looks like when it's all packed away.
borat123 Yep it kind of evolved after so many camping trips. Just had a second axel added and some more storage. Labour is so cheap here it doesn't cost much for someone to custom build whatever you want. Decent coffee and running water for a shower is all I need for a few days out in the desert..
Ol_Grumpy Not to mention 40 scantily clad wenches in veils to fan you with their big feather fans.... :cool
