The Heatlie doesn't need to be 'customised'... The Heatlie comes as a full a stainless steel BBQ, but they also offer a lower spec. budget version which has steel 'bits', for those looking to save a few pennies. The full stainless steel Heatlie is a commercial grade cooker. It will stand up to constant heavy use and you will be long buried before you wear out the Heatlie. It is not cheap, but is excellent value for the dollar spent. Nor is it the most expensive, far from it. You won't getting better quality without spending 'way' more.... The other really important feature- and arguably one of the most important aspects of the BBQ is the burner. Heatlie have their own registered design- from memory, they call it a 'ribbon' burner- doesn't matter... and it is very, very good. Not as economical as the Weber Q- but considerably more power and excellent control. There is a stockist here at Browns Plains Plaza, but that's too far from you @C man.... I arranged the purchase and fit out of several hire-out sausage sizzle 'fund-raiser' type cart's and trailers with Stainless Heatlie's. That's maybe 30-50 kg of sausages, day-in, day- out for quite a few years. Sure, there have been minor replacements of valves, buttons and what- not, but the first was built 8 years ago and was sold after 4 years of heavy use; in perfect working order... Only driven to church on Sundays.... Lol I also notice all the local Bunnings are using Heatlie's in their sausage-sizzle carts now.... Wonder where they got that idea from........ Do you see the irony? Bunnings sell fifty brands of BBQ's to the punters.... But put Heatlie's in the fundraising carts they use for themselves??? Big clue... Right there....
