Thats just with the cup tray off C-man, remove 3 screws on the side panels and the whole side comes off takes about 30 seconds. Chester

good Access makes things so much easier, with a good manual service and repairs should be pretty easy as long as parts are OK to get. Looks well built and pretty straight forward plumbing wise I have no Idea whats involved inside those paddles?

Brett_H

Amazing pics... Thank you!

Good to see inside a Slayer Thanks for the photos :thumb: KK

Thanks for all the great support guys, be sure to put you all on top of the "social at cosmic couples" list :thumb: I have everything I need to do a temporary fit ;D but maybe I should show some paitence and wait till the shed is constructed (about 6 weeks) i'm in two minds :🙂 Chester

C-man

that's a tough decision lets see..... 1. sit there and look at a new green Slayer for 6 weeks or 2. hook it up (which needs to be done anyway) and start enjoying it.

Brett_H

Restraint is good but life is too short. Hook that bad-boy up... Stat!

Congratulations on your acquisition! May it bring you many years of joy and fulfillment. Thank you for sharing the photos of the inside of the Slayer, it was great to see the build quality. I must admire your resolve. It must be extremely frustrating to have a new toy that you can touch, but not play with. Just hook it up.... you know you want to.

I might look at installing her tomorrow, shed builders will need great coffee to keep them going won't they? In the meantime here is the bowling ally bench top I have been working on, 2nd coat today with plenty of fine sanding and many more coats of clear to come. [attach=1] 2.6 meters long by a bit over 1 meter wide. Think it will look great under the slayer. Bench top is being fitted on some old industrial steel workers benches. Chester

I like it, was there any more of that wood? C-

Me thinks a bowling alley is somewhat longer than 2.6 M, so there has to be some more lying around either at Chester's or his supplier. Or, there could be a lane at the 'local' losing balls halfway down the alley! BTW Chester, it's looking like a knock out bench for the "green" goodies. Well done

O_______O_______ lllll O O O Surprised it didn't make the news actually, "Bowling alley stolen, thieves strike again leaving bowlers spare time to ponder how they did it" Local demolition yard had two lanes which they pulled out of a pro bowlers home in Brisvegas. Chester

So temporary power all most finished, water line installed so should be playing with the Slayer by the weekend. 9x4 meter shed all ordered, approved and paid for. Silver Streak all pulled down and new twin burners fitted, probably another week For Mark Beatie from Coffee Roasters Australia to do all the wiring and set up the coffee sweet software. The ball is well and truly rolling on this project now :thumb: Thinking that a Crema day will definitely be needed, so start considering a date roughly 8 weeks from now but I will keep you posted on that. [attach=1] All stripped down ready for new twin burners. [attach=2] Out with the old electrics ready for the new. [attach=3] New burners fitted. Thanks for all the support guys. Chester

If you got some room left in the shed, bowling alley, a couple of pinball machines and a bar to accomodate ales and manual brewing. Goodness, you got enough top notch stuff to run a home boutique cafe [emoji3][emoji482][emoji485][emoji477][emoji465][emoji106]

Love the look of that counter.

"8 weeks from now" :thumb: Please allow some consideration for those 'cremas' that will need to calculate and include travel time. 😛

Spent the day finishing off my temporary coffee bar, Amanda still thinks I should have waited for the new roastery. So here are a few photos. [attach=1] Pump fitted, nice and neatly. [attach=2] Turned her on for the first time, pretty excited now. :coffee2: [attach=3] Bleeding the air out of the lines, look how fine that water is. ;D

And the finished product for know looks like [attach=1] This ;D [attach=2] Look forward to tomorrow morning when I fire her up proper and pull some shots of the ninety + Nikessi and Techembe, like you said C-man they should be perfect by then. Coffee nirvana, oh yeah baby. Have to pick the shed/roastery colour tonight, certifier submitted plans into council so another week and the concrete will be going in. Silver Streak is half way through the rewire and I am hoping that she will be coming home end of next week. So much happening, gardens to dig out trees to cut down, will need a week off once I get this project finished. Chester
