Beanz I have recently taken delivery of two Hausgrind hand grinders from Knock in Edinburgh. I am told there are three others in Australia so my daughter and I have the 4th and 5th to hit Australian shores. It was a bit of a gamble as I had not seen or used a Hausgrind. I had been monitoring the posts on various forums for some months and everything I read indicated that this grinder was going to be good. These grinders are excellent in their presentation and functionality. I have a variety of hand held grinders but I consider the quality of this grinder to be in a league of its own when it comes to hand held hand grinders. To clarify the description I consider
Koffee_Kosmo Looks like a nicely made hand grinder Great introductory post on them I have a soft spot for hand grinders KK
cosmic_couple22 Looks good Beanz, and nice review. Wonder how these compare to the Commandantte (the one I am considering) think Proud Marys is bringing them in. Will have to go check them both out a bit more. Chester
Brett_H Wonderful review mate. Congratulations on a stunning couple of grinders. How awesome also that you can share this hobby with your daughter. That's my favorite part of the review and one I hope to replicate in a few years.
Beanz Chester I am sure you will do your research, there are plenty of posts on various forums that will give you some points to consider.
samuellaw178 Heads up, there're about 20 all-alu Hausgrind in stock today. Probably won't last long. Just go to their website and click 'store' on the left. All-in price is 155 GBP, ~284 Aussie Dollar. A bit high, but I reckon it's a good value if you're looking for a good portable & long lasting hand grinder. You don't get those virtues together very often in today's 'disposable' manufacturing culture.
