Update on the LaPavoni. On another thread I made the comment that the in the cup experience of the Pav was inferior to my Bezzera. Bearing in mind that my drink of choice nowadays is a Lungo and that's what I've been making on the Pav up to now, that is approx 90 mls in 30 seconds, 3 x pulls on the lever, I stand by my remark as far as this type of coffee is concerned, the Bezzera is streets ahead. However, last night, for the first time since owning the little lever I felt the desire for a straight espresso, so 16 grams in the double basket, 30 second pull, 30 mls, the resultant shot was excellent, just as good as, in fact perhaps better than the Bezzera, so it seems the La Pavoni's forte is straight espresso or perhaps milk based coffee I'm impressed. :thumb:
