Guidance to machine

dundas112

Hi all,

Long time lurker, but decided to finally join in.
I’ve searched with no specific answers.
I have been suggested to get the Nuova Simonelli Oscar II for its value for money and quality of parts (minus the plastics).
Now I’ve been also looking up the Nuova Musica and now the Isomac Tea Due.
Suggestions, recommendations, why’s and why nots. Any other machines. In the above price range (essentially around/under 2k).

Thanks Pat, Even any other suggestions I’d be happy with. I was looking at the Rocket Appartmento which is around the 2.5k mark, but wouldn’t mind spending a little less. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I personally prefer all metal construction And the less electronics the better Check out the offerings as machine and grinder packages for best value Also check out the Musica against other offerings https://www.coffeemachinespecialist.com.au/espresso-coffee-machines/ For your around $2K budget also look at genuine offered specials KK

Hi Brett, Located in SA, I don’t have many sellers over here. Only one I know of is coffeecraft.

For your price-range I'd always suggest ringing Cosmorex/Bean Roasters in Canberra and have a chat to them about their Diadema Junior Plus Levetta machines. They're on special and represent wonderful value. I only know this because I've owned two Diadema machines and I've encouraged friends and family to buy them. My friends and family still mostly like me therefor the machines are robust, reliable and wonderful value for money. Also, our sponsor K-Bean is worth a chat as he has access to some great machinery too. Sounds like you're doing your homework so with my two it rounds out a pretty fantastic list.

Hi KK, Yeah having a look at the site. I guess sometimes having a greater option makes things harder. 2 great machines to pick from vs 5 haha. Also what do you mean genuine offered specials? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Coffee Specialist link I posted is a sponsor Also had a look at both K Bean and Cosmorex and did not find a machine with equal specs in your price range All the above are honest traders and good to deal with What I meant about a genuine discount is check around Sometimes a discount from one seller is the regular price from another KK
