Good story... if any beverage had weponisation potential its surely Blend 43!

Koffee_Kosmo

I once conducted a measure test based on the name Blend43 Yes 43 beans measures to 9 grams of coffee KK

Cuir_Beluga

Imagine the possibilities if it was their "Gold Blend" ;D

Ha ha ha. That bought back memories of groceries being unpacked on the kitchen table and mums jar of Pablo sitting there

:thumb: Just saying thanks guys, I'd never heard of Pablo, but following a related thread out of sheer curiosity (worse than IR Caterers Blend? Some mistake, surely?), I had the best time ever, OMG I laughed til I cried . My darling wife thought I'd lost it, lol

Brett_H

Lol... glad we could amuse! Yes, Pablo is allegedly what they’re serving in Hell at the OH&S briefing.

Koffee_Kosmo

My auntie - bless her soul When she was alive, drank Pablo instant coffee and said it was better than blend 43 >😃 KK

Cuir_Beluga

Is Pablo still made?

Cuir_Beluga

So it seems it is an Aussie thing.

According to the discussion board I was reading, Pablo is officially dead. Mort, snuffed it, extinct, kicked the bucket - in this life anyway. Link to humour section follows: https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/blogs/tim-blair/coffee-verdict-required/news-story/910a46a2bf4f4eaf82c7f08a3ccb5e49 I'm sure its still doing a roaring trade on the 7 levels of Hell, lol!

You know, I still have a jar of lumpy Blend 43 in the back of the cupboard somewhere and there are still people that prefer that to real coffee. Or maybe my real coffee isn't as good as I think it is
