You cant go too far wrong with coffee in Wellington, and I have to say that the overall coffee standard there is far superior to that of either Sydney or Melbourne. I recommend the Lido, for a cool, Brunswick Street like experience. However, for my money at least, you cant go past Midnight Espresso, and Fidels, on Cuba Street, in the city - the original innovators in the cafe scene in New Zealand (think The Wall, on Carlisle Street - East St Kilda, but 10 years older!) That's what I'm talking about! ACG
