thin white crema means under-extracted coffee. this usually means: coffee ground too coarse and or not enough coffee in the filter and or very old (stale) coffee. Suggest: get a grinder (beans stay fresher for far longer than grinds, and the grinder allows you to find the best grind setting for your machin) and take a lesson. dont go off on a tangent looking for another blend to work better, work on your technique as a coffee maker, learn the right way, and buy good fresh beans anyway.
