admin thought this was quite interesting: a couple of great cafes run by Australians in London & now looks like they're taking over in New York!
Dry_bean One of the best espressos I had on my last trip to the US was in San Jose CA owned by, you guessed it, an Aussie, and the coffee was very good. 😉
DoubleRistretto the guy mentioned in the SMH piece seems to have done pretty well - his cafe [Milk Bar] was ones mentioned in a recent listing of cafes by the NY Times!
Dry_bean During my one and only visit to NYC I couldn't find a decent coffee for love nor money, it is a pretty big/busy place though and I was only there for a couple of days. 🙂
