Perhaps also a policy for non sponsors who continually use the forum as a means of generating business

An interesting topic, whether to accept advertising/sponsorship and the conflicts of interest that may accompany (whether they be real or perceived), or to maintain the status-quo?  I'd imagine that there are pros and cons for both models, which I don't have the experience or business savvy to even attempt to try and spell out  :-[. If a more commercial model is adopted, it would be my humble suggestion to adopt a set of rules which are clear to everyone, and all site users need to abide by if they wish to make use of the site. These rules also need to be enforced by a mod/admin team who are all on the same page to allow for absolute consistency across the site. If the site owner decides to move to a more commercial style, then that is entirely his/her decision to make. Just my thoughts, Steve.

Hi Chris, welcome on board - its probably best not to speak of yourself in the pejorative, doesn't go down too well with content-driven members of course we welcome your feedback and insights, though as a word of caution you may want to speak to admin first if you decide to flog your wares here try life on the other side for awhile, you might even find you enjoy it! I share my ideas freely If it was not for the hundreds of emails I was recieving from people without DIY skills I would not have produced the KKTO at considerable personal expense to simply help out  Having said that I did have an offer from Barazi Bezzera to get it up and running The KKTO is priced with very little mark up above the production cost All profits will go towards a MarkII commercial model that has already been designed by me For me in a personal sense, its not about sales Its about satisfaction, its about what a little back yard tinkering has achieved One day someone will write a Wiki page about it as recognition to a great design Price of a roaster XYZ Price of recognition - Priceless KK
