After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Steam valve part for a NEMOX Opera Not a Lelit Combi PL042
Now if ya can help me out it would be great.. If not then not happy Jan !!!
The steam rod actuall y seals on TWO points...
There is a Flat front face and The valve seat. The LeIt uses a slightly different thread on teh main valve body and thus the vale that a number of suppliers have and sell is not suitable. I know as I now have 3 of them...
Any one want a LiLet Valve rod, I have one or two for sale ::) ::) ::)
Have tried to email and contact Lygon imports as they are the Importers on teh NEMOX and they receive and read my e-mail but done respond with an answer...
Have emailed NEMOX head office OS, but other than a thank-you for my request; I have had nothing back.
The following is not a perfect solution ..
But I do have a metal lathe and if I can get the exact measurement from the front face to the valve end or other critical measurements I may be able to re machine and get my mate up and running....
His valve was worn on teh tip and I cleaned up and then had to machine some off teh flat face. I went too far and before I stuff it any worse.... OR it takes months to get a new one if at all, I am left to mode it correctly.
Here is a pic of sorts of the LeLit valve to help you get the drift of the distances I am looking for. But you may need verniers to get the correct measurements as a bit out and ya stuffed.
SO once again.. Some thanks if ya can help me out on this one.
