After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Aust. barista champs - NSW
Hi guys - have been informed that the NSW heats will take place today - apparently at Ultimo TAFE.
Have had a quick check of the AASCA website, and to be honest, the details of time and place weren't immediately obvious... so my plan will be to turn up at around 3.00pm [if anyone can supply exact location details] and hopefully catch the announcement of the final winner.
If you're able to make it, should be a good way for forum members to catch up, although remember you'll need to be fairly outgoing, as if you don't already know each other, no-one will know you by your forum name! on that note, anyone who knows the layout is welcome to suggest a meeting place - either before the announcement, or for a beer after the announcement!
If i can find out where it is, i'll be wearing a black Crema T-shirt, and may have a camera [digital SLR] with me!
