Ok I've resurrected the above grinder coz we've got a guest in my coffee room (some would call it a bungalow or spare bedroom - but what would they know)

So I've had to crank out the spare coffee machine (Gaggia Coffee Deluxe) and the above grinder - as the're all that will fit in my dysfunctional kitchen

Anyway I reassembled the grinder as I'd broken it down to store it - and its grinding alright but the grind is super coarse - even on the finest setting?

Also the button at the back of the unit doesn't seem to want to stay out (or in) but it pops in and out when I try adjusting the grind

Ideas anybody?

I may have to bang the house guest's door down in the morning if i can't figure this thing out!

wait a minute... pulled it apart and the put it back together whilst aligning the arrows at the back, and keeping the button depressed while assembling, then Bob's your aunty! now to see if I can suffer the indignity of reverting to my domestic setup for a coffee in the morning - oh the humility...
