After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

So do you DO it do OR you sit back and let a chance go BY ?

Brett, Kelsey and LaceHim etc

So are the changes as to how suppliers might manage warranty etc and the subtle pause / choke in the BIG retail chains  going to have a significant impact on supporting industry...

Buy now, your all asking why did  SFB name us AND what is this about  :D

Opportunity to obtain a well respected outlet  (~30 year old ) that has always done OK but is now at a cross roads. Stay the same and flip flop about... Jump into the on-line sales side big time and possible loose focus.  Take on a roll in selling hardware wear and not just provide supplementary services.

I know where my best skills are AND it's not Bookwork / Accounting / ON Line selling and managing post packs or the Tax man.  Thus I have the licences as required by state and national regs and the skills sets.  I just need a Project manager, WEB support and an overseer as to watching and looking after the books.

Now if you guys ........ errrr might be  interested...... feel free to pontificate or raise relevant points.  AND, If there is the chance of true interest,  PM me.

ANGER ON":  I WANT TO BUT I HATE  "Bookwork / Accounting / ON Line selling and managing post packs or the Tax man

  • Well colour me curious!
  • You just need a partner that like all the stuff you don't AM.  Pity the opertunity is in Brisvegas.  I loved the idea. :)
  • AM, you are certainly the man for the job; however, is this a job you really want?  A hobby ceases to be when there are bills to pay and turn around and attention to detail are constantly expected as opposed to a nice surprise/bonus.  Also, if you are after investors... and I'm certainly interested in diversifying my investments... Lost lots in the GFC so 'colour me curious' have you thought about a business structure that would allow us all to invest with a view to growing the business and most importantly the returns?  Or does this all sound boring and running a hobby repair business from home for extra income feel like more fun and less like starting out all over again?  I've been thinking on my PM and still agree with myself... how are you feeling?
