After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
I need to get a double basket, good beans and proper sized flat tamper for it. Once i have them I think I can start to iron out problems with my technique. Which is probably why she hasn't been used as much as she deserves to be.

I may have a 21 gr genuine Bezzera basket that my tamper won't fit as its a little tight You are welcome to it IF I can find it KK
I thought I would finally get around to posting a photo of my Londinium 1. As my kitchen is very small it lives in the laundry next to the kitchen. Also sneaked in a photo of the HG one. A few months on and I still love both machines.
Looking great Chris, thanks for posting! Does that mean you're having to grind in the kitchen, then brew in the laundry? How are you finding the HGOne?
Sorry about the sideways pics. Yes grind in the kitchen and brew in laundry, it's okay only a few feet away. Now that the L1 is in the laundry I'll get it plumbed in. I love the HGOne just weigh the beans, put in the HG, grind and get all the grounds into the dispenser which fits nicely into the portafilter. Very little wastage or mess.
On the bench and nearly done. Has just been been finished mechanically (clean as a whistle in boiler and reco'd groups / smooth action happening there) and we may make ourselves a cuppa to drink this arvo. Cosmetically not far off. Some mod cons incl auto fill / anti vac valve and modern boiler safety valve, colour change led lights behind the front plate, and as can be seen in the side, a sirai switch.....and a smidge of modern wiring. As previously stated not restoring to brand new just come out of the factory in China this morning condition, has been left in original condition and for its age it is really nice incl the original crema caffe valance on the top (not fitted in this photo). It will look great.
For a reasonably small forum there are a lot of lever owners and admirers here. I thought we were a very niche market.
Its now that they are being rediscovered Many manufacturers are gearing up to fill the demand A great design that went out of favour with technology Now technology is trying to replicate it Lever owners say why replicate it with electronics ? just offer the original and the best again KK
I haven't been on the forums much for a while. The Ponte Veccios (sp?) were only just coming on the market when I moved away from CS and I hadn't found another local forum until I stumbled upon you guys via tapatalk. So it has been a while. Yes the simplicity of the design was what drew me to my lever too. My only minor quibble is that it can't knock out coffees as quickly as other machines can as you have to wait to make sure it's not going to sneeze at you. My wife is not so keen on the 70s styling but I am hoping she will grow out of that.

If you guys are ever in Kuala Lumpur and craving some Lever action then you need to head to Real and Wholesome for some Lever porn, they are opposite the Pertona Twin Towers and roast their own and have a nice 3 Group Mirage. I spent quite a few hours here while I left my other half to shop, had some good chats with the baristas and came back the second day to take some photos [attachimg=1] [attachimg=2]
Last lot! [attachimg=1] [attachimg=2] Hope all these photos are okay, so if you are ever in KL for a stop over or visiting the nice city, check this place out for a great coffee
