Any Crema members near Ipswich ?

Folks,

I am hoping there may be a Crema member who could be interested in doing me a favor for an hour or so at a time that is suitable for you.

Involves a bit of trouble-shooting to help a cafe client that we suspect is perhaps struggling with grind setting and espresso extraction - so it may take a bit more than an hour.

Ipswich/North Tivoli area.

Would be very grateful and offer a kind reward of your choice.

A heads up AM knows Di that lives close  And Jeff, if no one is available I may be persuaded to do the 2 hour round trip down to Ipswich, but only if there is parking close & if its a "HOT" day, a free ice cream for my trouble :angel: That sound fair ? KK

I am about 20 minutes away from there at Jamboree Heights.  I have an insanely busy week but there may be an afternoon or evening.

Thanks folks. KK you are a true Gentleman - I'd hate to ask such a long trip and thanks Brett, I know you juggle so many things. I will wait a couple of days to see if anyone else emerges. Suspect there is an issue with the cafe's grinder (either the burrs are worn or incorrect adjustment), else it's a dose and tamp problem. Jeff.

I'd love to help Jeff but wouldn't be able to until after Christmas and I suspect you would like it sorted before then. Crazy rush before Christmas has us flat out at work, you think people would have figured it out by now and ordered in advance. I'm north side Brisbane but would drive if time permits

So my name has been thrown around in here a few times..... I'd do it if it were in Toowoomba, but I'm just not sure if I'm confident enough with it all TBH (I'd be fine with the grinder for sure, but the commercial machine might throw me).

Thanks folks. I'm sorry RM - you are just one of those guys everyone loves. Even I have a soft-spot for ya - especially your weakness for that thing starting with B and ending in A - I'm not talking about what gorilla's love ! I would like someone to help - just waiting to confirm with the cafe owner. I suspect it's a grinder adjustment issue. Will post up something tomorrow when I speak to the owner. It's on Mt Crosby Road, so can't be too hard to find.
