I normally don't wake up till late or if you put it in another way I sleep in  :angel: Have to take the wife on a cafe date Sat for morning tea - then on Sunday I need drive the girls to the city for shopping (or secret women's business) So even if you are not home I can drop the items off and place them on the back veranda/deck But if you are home I may bring the TV board only and we can replace those caps while I make you coffee  8) KK

2nd one looks awesome, just got in to the office and found it on my desk  :thumb: I reckon the grain orientation is perfectly alligned to the other so good job there. I'll take a pic of all 3 when I get camera back from the in-laws.... Now that you mention it.... the grinder could go to one side and have a wooden catch tray  :rofl: Nah in all seriousness though, I reckon my sketch isn't actually that far off what would work for me. If only I could find a supplier of some wenge boards for cabinet making and a skilled handyman then I could fine tune that sketch  ::)

I am here, but am starting to get into a little bit of trouble, still haven't been paid and I won't have a job for much longer, plus I'm getting more and more migraines of late and can't figure out why. I'm going to be very happy with how they turn out AM

??? ??? ??? ??? I can not believe what I am looking at, they are absolutely gorgeous. AM picked the perfect type of wood for me, I honestly have no idea how I'm going to photograph them to bring out what I see but I'll give it a go. I tell you AM is also a very very good judge on size for hand, the handles of the portafilters fit my hand perfectly and although I don't have the base for the tamper just yet, the tamper handle fits really well into my fingers. Also thank you to Phil  :thumb:

That's awesome SS, can't wait to see the pics. I'm absolutely thrilled with my AM naked and the steam knob. In fact, I love his custom built steam knob so much I'm think about sanding back the naked handle and treating it in the same way as the steam knob. The matte texture of the wax finish is just so unusual, particularly with the mango wood. Love it. Aaaaannnnndddd back to you...

tsk tsk derrilex, filthy minded people  :angel: I now understand the beetroot comment, is very true, lucky I love beetroot  ;D Ok now for photos. The wood is called Purple Heart and is divine.  It has this sheen that has to be seen to be believed, I hope I captured at least a little of it. Any defects you see are not AMs work it is the wood, to me it looks like a complex wood to work with. It's a difficult wood to photo by yourself, trying to hold lighting, focus and hold the handles is a little difficult even with a tripod, so please excuse the photos.  I'll get some more when I have another hand

Awesome eh. I saw them both in the flesh but the tamper handle had "matured" and PF handle not. Couldn't believe they were the same timber.

I just can't get enough of my handles, I always have to feel them up when I walk past  :rofl: Now I'm going to put this out there and yeah everyone will say I'm strange but there is always a part of a craftsman that is left in his product, his spirit as such, there is just such a warmth I get from the handle (with a sense of wanting to strangle someone...)  ;D
