My Family Stickers

I really hate those my family stickers that have become a fashion of late... they are usually situated right next to the last fad, the frangipani sticker.

What gets me is the parents that have them and drive to school, because they are scared to let their little kiddies walk to school.  But they are quite happy to let the whole world know that Dad likes a BBQ or surfing, mum likes shopping, their daughter likes music, and has a baby brother, a cat and a dog and a horse?  Doesn't that sound like too much info to give a stranger?  To me it does!

Then the next trend... funny in a way, the "anti" my family stickers.  I've seen the ones with the baby shooting mum and dad, and the family all hung!  They made me giggle I have to admit, but the stupid part... they probably paid just as much for them as the muppets that bought the my family stickers and then they put a stupid sticker on their car!!!!  They are not cheap either!!!

Before those stupid stickers were popularised in Australia, this is how I was introduced to them: I've seen them with Big Stig and Little Stigs. I also saw a Single lady with about 15 cats next to her.

Not quite on topic...........but Today I purchased a set of Victorian CUSTOM NUMBER PLATES for one of my customers........... I hope he likes them........they are kinda special

At $4 a pop the creators are doing ok! I don't get why people want to do what everyone else is doing, maybe the stickers should be of sheep.

I think it's hilarious that the answer to a "my family sticker" is an "anti my family sticker", but at least these ones are funny!  No stickers for me I'm afraid... Mind you I have been thinking about putting one of those big fluro "Caution This Vehicle Makes Frequent Stops" signs on my car in the hope that people would stop driving so far up my arse!  They are usually too busy picking their nose, on their mobile phone, eating, smoking and tuning in there radio (all at the same time) to read that I'm sure.  :laugh:
