After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Sounds like a great prize $400 But I am not great @ latte art KK
  • I'd totally own this comp if I was in town that night  Unfortunately I'll be in Maleny so my inconsistent art will not be on show for all to laugh at. Would have liked to go tho.
  • I will go because it would be a great event but its tentative I am in negotiations to expand my contract to extra work with a client  The job may start around that week If that happens I may not be unable to attend KK
  • I can't go unfortunately because we are still settling in with the new Bub.  4weeks today and his Latte art is already less offensive than mine but alas, not everyone's cup of T...coffee!
  • I'll be heading up there with a friend from Iceland who will be entering, he's trying to convince me to give it a go, but I dont think frothy caps with choc sprinkles is a cool thing. ...  And what about Kiwi ferns, i'll rather do a kangaroo ... anyone have any ideas how to pour an aussie icon ...  I can do a meat pie!

What about a meat Pie and a xxxx  Opps; define an Aussie icon ?
aussie icon .. everyone seems to be pouring a Kiwi Fern (rosetta) .. we need an Aussie latte art pattern ... ....  I suppose I could manage a fluffy sheep ..... (I can certainly manage the fluffy body bit .. but how to do legs .....  can we etch?) .... oh .. there are more sheep across the pond these days. .. that could be considered kiwi too .... ... mmm .. back to the drawing board ..... meat pie and xxxx as my sig latte art ...... mmmm interesting.
  • Maybe it's the alcohol talking...I'm thinking up a free pour Kangaroo in my head.
  • I'll be there! My big bro and i are coming to have a sticky beak. Can't wait to see the calibre of artists  ;D
  • I poured something this morning that looked like a pie with mash potato and gravy  Seriously though I think a koala would be easier than a kangaroo. Some whith blobs and some etching.
