Pre-loved equipment suppliers

Hi everyone.

Just wondering if there are companies out there that specialise in refurbishing and selling pre-loved espresso machines and grinders. I'd particularly like a Wega Atlas 3 Group and a couple of Mazzer grinders, one Robur and one Mini. However this isn't set in stone.

I can travel to Sydney by plane but I'd prefer places local to Brisbane. I'm near Byron Bay.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

I know Bezzera wasn't mentioned, but they do their own refurbs and sell off used commercial machines at reasonable prices.

Having said that I have a much loved Bezzera - BZ40 that's looking for a new home KK

Silverchef usually stock a large range of Pre used Wega machines and you can pay them off but at a premium price and there's usually an Atlas or two available on the bay of evil ...

Yup, in an ideal world its "pre-loved". In the real world its just plain "used" and very possibly "tired". I'm less bothered by brand names, more by whether a machine is a good and reliable coffee maker, and on a used machine this is very much goverened by the condition at time of your purchase rather than  its brand name.....however I do understand that particular brand name is popular in the northern states. What if however, you get one but it has been treated previously like a dog. What good is the brand / model then? 3 group machines are always destined for the more busy sites and get very worn very quickly, and a 2 year old 3 grouper that has been ripped out of a site but not serviced back up properly taking all the usual wear points into consideration, could be a real dog ie you get stuck with the consequences, irrespective of its brand name and model. You should therefore I believe, be directing your enquiries to your closest industry equipment vendors and service support people, and see what they can offer that they guarantee they have gone through "with a dose of salts" and has been made ready to go out again! I would tend to favour current model machines (as I said they only need to be 2 years old to be pretty tired), and definitely not anything geriatric that is appealing because it is cheap. "Cheap" has no place in coffee business, which is what I assume you are about as per your spec for machine and grinders. Just my 3 cents worth and I hope that helps.
