After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

WTB - Diedrich or Probat Roaster

Hi there

I'm in the market for either a 12kg (minimum) Diedrich or Probat Roaster.  I would also consider other comparable brands and larger capacity.

If someone has a pre-loved one lying around, please email me at: infoATcuppacoffeeDOTcom.au

thanks
Dennis

  • Hi Dennis. Give Peter Wolff at call - he is about the best resource in Australia wrt Used Probats - it is very likely he could source you one from Europe quite quickly. You might find a bit of competition for a used L-series as they are in demand. Good Luck. Jeff
  • Thanks Jeff I've spoken to them, however as you say, used models are in high demand and there's nothing there at present. Cheers!
  • Hello Dennis, We're looking at downsizing .. 30kg Has Garanti .. very light duties, includes loader, cyclone, control board. Fully operational and in immaculate condition. Email sent. Cheers Mark
  • Thanks Mark - I've replied to your email. Cheers Dennis
  • Dennis, there is a near new (as far as I know) roasting set up for sale near me. It has absolutely nothing to do with me or mine. I dont know what type of machine it is or how its set up, I dont know the batch size, I dont even know if it is new or used, but it has only been set up and going in the area about a year, with virtually no real use (how can there be when you have no clients....).  The for sale ad said it has a capacity of 800 kilos a day, whatever that means depending on what type of roasting is being done, and how many hours anyone might call "a day". But I can give you the the contact info in case it may be something that will suit.  Let me know off line. Regards, Attilio
  • Thanks Attilio - I've sent you an email.
  • Going for shortest post (for me) ever..... The system works ;)
  • ehh....here's anotherie... Job's done.
