Finalists were: Maxwell Colonna-Dashwood [UK Miki Suzuke [Japan] Paul Rodas [Guatamala] Colin Harmon [Ireland] Fabrizio Sencion Ramirez [Mexico] Stefanos Domatiotis [Greece] A couple of things struck me [apart from the timely emergence of a number of South/central American competitors: firstly the finals position of two 'anglo' competitors [UK & Ireland] i.e. from countries where instant coffee and tea have been the main staples, and secondly the conspicuous absence of anyone anywhere near the finals from Italy. in his fourth year of international competition, and Paul opened Semi-Finals on Thursday [Friday night Aust. time]; you can see his performance on Sprudge.
