After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

It's time to get to know Brendan from BeanGreen...

Q. Describe yourself & where you live. Hobby/Industry Background etc?
A. I started working in cafes making coffee while at uni in Brisbane. I ended up working for Dean Merlo in his 1st roasting house and learnt the roasting process from him. I finished uni but was offered a job with Merlo. The job involved looking after the purchasing, roasting and despatch. The job also involved travelling to origin and i was offered a job in PNG running planations and processing mills. I was there for 4 years but with a baby on the way decided to move home and start up BeanGreen. The business has been going for 2 years. I still do a bit of work consulting the bigger roasters in town and the occasional day roasting for a couple of smaller boutique guys around town which i love.

Q. Describe your business if applicable.

A. We sell Green Coffee Beans to home and commercial roasters. We also sell coffee roasters suitable for roasting at home as well as roasted beans.
