BRG shares have steadily climbed for the past 18 months. I put them on a watch list but they didn't fit my investment profile: they increased in value and didn't put out earnings downgrades :tearhair:

actually, a bit of insider knowledge here, but I think it's relevant...the US division is headed up by a guy called Damian Court, who in fact used to be marketing mgr of Sunbeam here in Aust. before leaving to pursue a GM role a couple of years ago. He then got poached back to do the US-thing; he's a very smart/dynamic guy - probably future MD of Breville [you read it here first]! A

good luck and well done to breville for being able to show a healthy bottom line in a bottomed out economy - its a credit to their product and their foresight in being able to identify and to fill a market niche
