After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

  • Thanks Ian, that's great - will you be there? -A
  • I doubt it, but there is a small glimmer of chance that I'll head up on th sunday.  At my end there's a lot of stuff going back and forth for my up-and-coming cafe (so sick of refering to it like that!), but if I can I'll try and fly up just for the day on sunday.
  • Hi guys - have just been sent the 'official' run-sheet as follows: Friday: 10am
  • seems like they must have been pretty dis-organised. I would have liked to go, but unfortunately it's too late notice for me! dR
  • Just booked everything then and will be heading up on the Sunday.
  • Damn... I'm on the sunshine coast til the 29th and I've just come up from down tweed coast way!  Looked into the viability of sticking around to cover the comps but me Mrs has a study module on all weekend of the comps in Melbourne, which means that I'm looking after the kids... Oh well maybe next year! Cheers, Pat
  • For those of you who can't make it to QLD but still wanna keep up to date on the action the whole event (all of the comps) will be streamed live via http://www.ustream.tv/channel/gun-barista-challenge Or if you have the need for something a little less bandwidth hungry, I'll be micro-blogging Sundays events via my twitter account http://www.twitter.com/BarNine Which is also viewable via the blog http://BarNine.blogspot.com Let's all get behind the barista's/latte art masters and cuppers who make this comp great!!
  • Hi Ian - thanks for that; hopefully see you up there! -A
