After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Melbourne Food & Wine Festival- Roasters Week

For the first this year the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival is presenting a week of activities relating to specialty coffee roasters. The Coffee Company is hosting a free public event during the week called 'Bean Around 40 Years : The Roasting Experience'. If you are interested in seeing a roasting demonstration first hand and learning about the process from green beans to the finished product, please come along. Repeat sessions will be held each day from Tuesday 17 to Saturday 21 March at 10am at The Coffee Company, 260 Carlisle St, Balaclava. Bookings via [email protected] or call 0419113681. Full details of all Roasters Week events can be viewed at http://www.melbournefoodandwine.com.au/www/html/408-roasters-week.asp

  • This sounds like a great way for home enthusiasts to improve their knowledge under the skilled guidance of some folks who've been in the business pretty much since the first days of espresso coffee in Australia! Now that's a pretty impressive history! Hope to see you there, Pat
