After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

mobile coffee vans

Hi everyone my name is Josie and I am thinking of buying a van and getting into this type of work. I live in the blue mountains and really have to do my homework. I feel like all my life I have wanted to do something like this but have always thought it a little risky. Just to get used to it would anyone want a person to help them on a saturday just to check it out. I am willing to travel into sydney and I will do it for free. I just ot want to see if I would really like it.

I have had a little experience in making coffee but love it. I really need a mentor on this.

Josie and the coffee cart

Comments

  • Hey Josie - this question has popped up quite a few times on the forum most recently here: http://cremamagazine.sitesuite.ws/forums/YaBB.cgi?num=1234581548 ANd we have a couple of mobile cart operators who are frequent contributors to the forum - perhaps you could drop one of them a line and see how you go form there? I've spoken to plenty of operators in my time and the good ones at least always seem keen to share their knowledge Try looking at how the franchise carts operate then ask yourself 'how can I do this better?' Hope this helps - Pat
  • thanks pat I have enough information and can look at other options. Is there a way of me knowing mobile vans in the mountains
