borat123 Hi guys, yesterday I had the pleasure of a visit to the brand new museum that houses Enrico Maltoni's collection. It was absolutely outstanding, & I took a heap of pics which I'll upload soon...
borat123 Been a bit busy with work, but I've finally found some time to try and upload the pics.... I was lucky to get a guided tour by the man himself. The displays in the museum start from early 1900's and go forward from there - so I'll post the pics in the same order.
borat123 Part three. These ones I uploaded in a higher res. let me know if the other pics are ok, or I'll upload them again in the higher res too.
conikal Totally stunning. Great Art comes in so many forms. Boy !..when i think of all the 100's of trips i took to Milan in the 80's-90's ,..all the time i wasted in cafe's and bars... never thinking i was ignoring the history in front of me ! Ahh!.. wasted youth ! :🙂
borat123 Some more noteworthy points about the high quality of the museum. The pic of the tabletop was to show the images projected onto it were of newspaper headlines of the day - matching the age of machines on display. There were also interactive screens all over the walls where you can search by year / manufacturer / type etc and read more info. And while the museum has a vast array of machines on display, there is still another half of his collection not yet housed there. Many thanks to Enrico for the opportunity to visit and see some real history.
Lacehim Those photos are amazing. You could spend hours reading and just staring at those machine. They are beautiful. You are one lucky Bunny Borat! Thanks for uploading the photos, they are fanastic, and great quality. 😉 You just made my day! :thumb:
Ol_Grumpy Proceed with Caution... Enter at Own Risk... I'm quite sure one could come away from that place with a totally incurable case of Upgradeitis... I'm suffering some pretty serious envy pangs just looking at those amazing images...
Koffee_Kosmo What a great post Because in our early upbringing we were encouraged to dream about such things if one could not visit These photos have reactivated my dreams and I am there now walking and admiring  KK
LaSanMarcoMelb Some beautiful machines, thanks for posting. I'm leaning towards that beast of a La San Marco as my favourite for some reason ;-)
C-man I'm stunned! Where is this place? WHAT COUNTRY??? How does this one work, do you hand crank it?
