After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Quick Mill 0996 Achilles Single Group Lever Machine & Macap M5 grinder
Due to financial constraints / forced retirement and court costs, I've decided to sell the Quick Mill 0996 Achilles Single Group Lever Machine; as it is not getting the use / or love that it deserves.
This was purchased from Jack at Sorrentina Coffee at the beginning of the 2013 year; pulled 2-4 shots a day, until the 10 month and since then, maybe 1 shot a week. It and the Macap M5 grinder are in as new condition.

COFFEE MACHINE IN STAINLESS STEEL "Achilles" - MOD.0996 ( ~$ 3, 800 )
- Lever professional group (same as the Bosco, L1, but has 2 springs)
- Copper boiler 4.5 lt.
- Automatic reloading of the boiler with electronic level probe
- Glass level
- Lance anti burn steam
- Lance anti burn water
- Rotary pump
- Certified safety valve
- Safety thermostat with reset
- Steel cup warmer
- Siri Pressurestat to control the boiler pressure
- Water tank: 3 lt and connections/hoses to plumb
- Drip try can also be plumbed.
Macap M5: ( ~$ 800 )
The Macap M5 is the same as the M4 except it has a taller, narrower, bigger hopper.
Power: 250 watts
Grinding Burrs: Flat, 58mm
Motor: 1400 rpm
Hopper capacity: 600 grams
Doser Capacity: 200 grams
Net Weight: 9 kg
Has dosing counter
Stepless grind adjustment
Chrome finish
What do you get?
The lever machine, which weighs 40kg
Everything that came with the machine, which includes hoses for plumbing it in, the crappy plastic tamper, 2 group handles (1 single, 1 double), double and single basket & manual.
2 EP HQ ridgeless baskets (1 double, 1 triple) that I bought to use with it.
1 Naked group handle for watching your god shots (a must have).
Has had extra sound proofing and plumbed to minimise noise in the tank mode. Can be converted to direct plumbed in connection if you require.
M5 Grinder has had little use since purchase and is like new...
Total cost to buy new is > $ 4.6K
