After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Barista courses in Brisbane?

Which Barista course in Brisbane is good? I looked up on Google and the top 2 courses on the list are CoffeeSchool and BaristaBasics, the latter one seemed more popular from looking at the booking availability. Are they any good? I'm looking for one that actually has passion to teach how to make good coffee not just one that teaches the average skill that results in a Starbucks.

  • Hi and welcome.  As a Brisbane coffee lover I actually have no idea.  Do you need a piece of paper or is this for home coffee?  I'd suggest asking at your favourite cafe's barista for suggestions too.

I want to apply for a barista job and I just thought a little experience in the industry will make my resume look better to employers. I've been applying with no experience for so long and haven't had an interview :'(
  • The only one I have been inside is Coffee School in Fortitude Valley However I haven't seen how the course is run and what if entails KK
