After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Vitasoy Coconut milk

The wife brought this home yesterday.

Ingredients didn't look to bad.
Didn't find anywhere on the box suggesting to use in coffee. But what heck, hay?

Cold the "milk" like low grade desiccated coconut, very watery and salty. Little sweet but I don't do sugar. Some more coconut flavour comes through at the end.

Stretching? Terrible.  Probably because there is bugger all protein in it.
With coffee - Strong coffee taste fading to a rounded salt flavour. A horrible flavour continue for a long while in the mouth.

Leave this product for cereals and shakes.....

  • Can imagine if you use it in coffee, dark roasts are the way to go. Light to medium roasted? Expect some serious peristalsic action from the innards in the same way if one would add milk with fanta. [emoji13]
