After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Stable Treat 2014

Just ordered from Stable Treat 2014 from Ministry Grounds http://ministrygrounds.com.au/roasted-coffee/blends/stable-treat-2014.html

It was only roasted a few days ago so will have to give this one some time, but previous years have been a really Christmas treat with lots of Christmas flavours even for my untrained palate. :)

Anyone else ordered some?  C-Man, Kelsey and I pool together to save on postage so hopefully they will enjoy it too. :)

It sounds yummy. Hmm? How about a review once you have it .. and the beans have rested
  • Have a search on here for Stable Treat.  There's been a review for the past few years too.  It's been an amazing blend in my opinion, one of those fantastic Christmas treats.  It's a bit like drinking a Christmas cake coffee! :)  The flavours just spill out.  It's different every year though due to bean variables but I didn't have any problems getting people to join me with an order! :)
  • Had never heard of this before. Sounds right up my street though so I ordered.

It is a special blend eggbert.  It's certainly worth a try I think.  The first year I had it was with my Achilles 0996 level and it rocked my socks off.  It was like drinking a coffee and eating christmas cake at the same time! lol. Can't wait for you to give us your thoughts.  The previous years I found it all came together around the 2 week mark for flavour.  It wasn't as good early on but every year is different. ;)
  • I was in London a few years ago and managed to get some of Square Mile's berry explosion (or whatever it was called) Christmas Special, and that was pretty amazing. If this is remotely similar in experience I will be more than happy.

It should be egg.  The description as per the website is "Full body, sweet, milk and dark chocolate, with notes of plum, dried fruit, wineyness, cherry and honey. Some green-apple crispness." Yum.  I just have to resist opening the bag! lol.
  • I'm liking this so far, but have to admit that Chester's Panama Hartmann Estate - Winey is slightly ahead to my palate. If anything this has slightly too much going on for me, but it's still a mighty fine drop.
  • I'm not ordering this year because ill be away over Christmas and New Year but look forward to your reviews guys!
  • enjoying mine do I really have to hit shift alt then s everything I want to post?
