After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Taking a Behmor 1600 to South Africa
Hi all,
I haven't posted recently, too much work, but I read every day...
I shall visit South Africa soon to see little Janlab IV (nr 10!), and am thinking to take my Behmor as a present to a good man. (Same workload precludes me from using it now, and will likely upgrade anyhow by yearend)
Voltage in South Africa is 220 at 50Hz. I know the kit will work, all my South African stuff works here and vice versa.
So my questions to the technogurus are: will the programs and temperature profiles be affected, and how. What adjustments would be necessary?
Of course a transformer to up the voltage is an option...
Thanks,
Janlab
