Thanks Coffeeguy and Geek, at least this one arrived in better shape than the last one  :thumb:. Aust Post are a bit slack at times, touch wood I have had no dramas with them yet. I do hate the after 4pm pick up though. Todays goodies that arrived are a sachet of Grindz and a non coffee related body lotion  :P.

I have ordered today 500g of the Centre Way along with some Eco Grinder Cleaner, so you and I can post some "in the cup" results soon. I occasionally compare the professional roasts against my operation of the JYR and this Centre Way sounds very interesting. I am also running low on browns and have learned that I need to allow longer rest times from the JYR. Looking forward to the Postman bringing things nice!  :P

I just tried it. My palate is a bit off tonight but I tried it as a latte and what can I say. Excellent. Not very descriptive but I'll go into detail tomorrow after 'cupping' it tomorrow. Right now I'm just after the caffeine. My little one has started her first wonder week. Let's just say fussy, unsettled, crying and the wife and I are pulling our hair out. Lol.

Kevo I think we should review it by brewing it in a mocha pot by using the heat generated from a Ford Windsor rocker cover. "Classic Brew".

Just took delivery of my MorphyRichards retro kettle. (40% off at Myer at the moment). http://m.myer.com.au/shop/mobile/mystore/morphy-richards-102201-elipta-15litre-traditional-kettle:-cornflower-blue This kettle was a compromise as I want to set up a pour over on my bench but my wife hates the hario kettles. This one is an in-betweener and still maintains pour control to a manageable degree.

we were thinking about the matching toaster too but we just store our el cheapo one away out of sight when not in use. Too many things on the bench now anyways such as steriliser, bottle warmers, bottles, etc.

I store my crappy Catch of the Day toaster away too lol. I got a %$#@% $740 electricity bill in the post  :mad:.

I think that is what has bumped ours up, the heating. Maybe the Splendor didn't help as well, this is the first bill since we got it. We have solar panels too  ::).

Remember when my fridge kicked the bucket? Then we bought anew side by side? Well we've had nothing but issues from Pisher&Faykel on the workmanship of the stainless doors. After 3 failed attempts of receiving new doors (stainless was warped each time) we decided to part ways with that brand. Today we received a new Sharp top mount plasma cluster ion something or rather black glass door 585L PID controlled capacitive touch glass fridge. Quality is outstanding and the NET capacity is larger than our previous side by side. The glass is an awesome touch and you can see the coffee bar reflection clearly. Happy about that one [emoji6][emoji41] ... Now to troll eBay for a screen protector for it.

great so far DB. and the compressor is really quiet too. Hopefully this one will last more than a month. They don't make them like they used to.

Ebay is my down fall. It is a treasure trove for vintage perfume hunters, it is far too easy to do a lot of damage in a small amount of time  ;D. Edited; today Mr Postman bought me some of those sealing sticks that Steve82 mentioned further back.
