Must have a dose of the grumps today.
One of my pet hates, political or social correctness gone mad, check out this article on news.com.au makes numerous references to wait staff
http://www.news.com.au/national/south-australia/is-surge-in-the-adelaide-food-scene-killing-good-service/story-fnii5yv4-1227470997541
Whats wrong with the term waiter? its gender neutral and rolls off the tongue unlike the clumsy wait staff or wait person.
Ha, in the few minutes it took me to type this the author of the article removed every reference to wait staff etc, someone must have been given a pineapple. :stir
