After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Bobby Fischer Against The World.

I'm a bit of a chess tragic, don't play very well but have always been fascinated by the game.

Last night watched the Documentary Bobby Fischer Against The World, well worth a look even if your not into the game. :)

  • My grandfather was a championship player in new Zealand he even had a small stroke mid game once and kept playing - I never won against him by I did draw a game once !
  • I am a dreadful chess player and by contrast don't think I've ever won a game.  I once took it upon myself to learn to play chess against the computer so I could improve my skills.  The computer turned out to be our microwave oven and it still won!
