After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Trinity ONE

I met the inventor (Mark) at MICE16.  The story of the Trinity ONE is a great one.  ....from an idea to a company and manufactured product.  It's just amazing what crowd funding can do.
.....and the product is AMAZING.  Very innovative and very high build quality.

No, not at all Brett. It's unique. Old school quality and old school simplicity.
  • I thought that the Bunn was an overrated and overhyped piece of ... Equipment that I could do without - this however is a beautifully crafted piece of equipment that I've followed since inception that I'd be glad to have on my bench !
  • I'm glad to hear that  because I went out of my way to try coffee from an excellent roast if you and Brisbane out of their Bum Trifecta .  It was poop And yet the same beans from them ( roast batch and all)  were fantastic in my French Press at work.  What does one of these cost out of interest.?

I took a look at the picture of this thing and didn't get any further.  I just looked very unattractive. I expected poop - thanks for confirming ;)
  • Well I'm sure somebody somewhere has had some transcendental results from them but it wasn't me on the few times I tried single origins on it.  The variability of steep temperature and agitation looked exciting but never yielded anything for me greater than a half-decent pour over.
  • I'm being completely ignorant on this one Brett. I have no idea if it's any good but I saw a pic and just didn't like the look of it.  It has an over-complicated appliance look to it. I like simplicity... :)
  • Ive made coffee on the Bunn before too many variable that needed adjusting for my liking that could easily be tweaked using a manual pour over method ...

The shop I visited also had reliability issues with theirs also :/
