Hi all... Nice to be here.

Just ordered myself a Profitec 700!  I've upgraded from a nasty little Nespresso\Delonghi pod thingy with a froffy tube on the side that wouldn't blow the dust off a cushion......  Sooo I'm a tad excited for it's arrival... Tomorrow hopefully.  To keep it company I've also ordered the Profitec Pro T64 Grinder so should be a nice match.

Looking forward to soaking up some experience from seasoned brewers.  I think I've watched more youtube videos on how to get it right but I'm sure there's no substitute for getting your hands dirty and learning from mistakes.

Ah welcome Paul! Ohhhhh from pods to Profitec Pro 700.... that'll absolutely knock your socks off haha. Massive upgrade! I've had a Profitec Pro 500 for about 2 months now, and wowza it is an incredible machine... so easy to use, loving it so much, Profitecs are just so beautifully made and every detail is well thought out. That's a great attitude to have, and yeah there will be mistakes, and you won't get it right from the getgo, but definitely good to see every shot you pull simply as feedback rather than a failure. Much to learn, but once you get the very essentials going (freshly roasted coffee, freshly ground, right dose and grind level combination, distributed and tamped well, shot stopped when blonding occurs), you'll be laughin', and having alot of fun experimenting from there! Keep us posted on how the 700 goes, enjoy it, and yeah feel free to ask anything!

Thanks for the reply guys... Ok well I'll post some photos when the DT's stop. I spent the morning dialling everything in taking zero notice of how much coffee I was taking in and I'm seriously feeling like a blowfly at the moment.. Baha!
