Elektra Micro casa sensitive repairer in Sydney

edited January 1970 in Espresso Machines
Hi all

I am in Alexandria and have a really old Elektra microcasa machine.
It is beautiful but no-one wanted to work on it for a burnt element.
I found one and put it in but now it needs a gasket set and a small wiring fix.
I am too old and bad at it to finish it properly.
Any one recommend a kind and sensitive person near Alexandria who can fix such an old but beautiful machine?

  • Alexandria where ? The suburb in Sydney? Di Bartoli Coffee in Rosebery nearby does coffee machine repairs on coffee machines of all kinds - perhaps you could ask them ? Best, Pat
  • Wow, sounds wonderful! Please keep us up to dat with how you get on!
  • There’s a couple of pretty average service places in Sydney’s inner west and east. I won’t name them but stay away from the mob in Marrickville. As Pat said Di Bartoli are the closest to you that I would recommend. They’ve moved to Rosebery I think so even closer than when they were at Bondi. If they can’t do it they’ll probably send you to Jetblack in Frenchs Forest, but for what you want done I’m sure they’ll be onto it.
  • Good information Leroy!!
  • Sorry for the late reply Friends of the family in Sydney were the importers of Elektra coffee machines When I spoke to them last they have moved on to roasting coffee commercially I can find out if they still sell and service the Elektra or who is the best to take it to Just give me a shout out and I will make the call KK
  • Josh Bailey from Bailey's Coffee in Melbourne rebuilds and restores vintage machines and I can vouch for the quality of his work obviously it would be mean sending the machine down to him but he's top of his field in the quality of the work that he does !
